Ok, I will try to explain this to you guys.
I have asked to un-sub over this very thing, but I guess alot of people
don't know.
I have been there and done that as the saying goes !
If YOU go to ancestry.com and you register with them they tell you that you
need a credit card.#. Now you can use their site for X Number of days with
out a charge to your card. IF YOU DO NOT CANCELL before the "free" time you
were given up then it turns out to be a charge on your card and then you
become a subscriber. I DID NOT have to make a phone call to tell them I
didn't want to continue. If I remember right there is an area where you
cancell on the internet.
It is clearly stated.
I was nearly "scalped" over was exactly what Joy sent. I used it. I do not
expect top pay for it. I told you people about it only because I thought it
was a "good" thing.. I still beleive it is. NOT ALL THINGS THAT ARE FREE
are'catches. I DO NOT AGREE with that statement. If I find I don't want it.
Then I don't buy it. So can you.
Yes, I have asked to un-sub because of this !

Why should they ask for credidcardnumber when there is a free period
and why shall we unsubscribe after the period is over?
That is a real confidence game
