Girls, Have you ever tried to read some of those microfilms and
microfiches. I am sure if you have, you would be more appreciative of those
that spend their time transcribing them and putting them online.
I have done this, and in a couple of hours my head is going in circles
and my eye balls in the opposite direction.
I think this is a problem with writing and asking a courthouse or history
center to look something up for you and they don't find it. If you could be
there looking at those records, you would recognize something they can't
see...and, bingo! there it is. But, unfortunately, we just can't get to
all those places we'd like to go.
