Hello Sandra

Accidently I see at the next page nr 57 (26) the introduction of the wife of
Jon Findland:
It is said: 2e Easter day Aalen Introd. Ingeborg Jon Findlands (and still
another wife of Hans Reidens)
Next date in the records is 6 april.

So this is certainly the introduction of the mother of the baptised Ingeborg
of Jon Findland at page 56 #13

Why are you hesitating if she is the right Ingeborg?
And why are you thinking of "Finnish Norwegians?

As far as I can judge this matter it looks your Ingeborg to me, because you
have the year of birth 1768, the place Aalen, father's name Jon Findland and
mother's name Ingeborg.

Kind regards
Reina

Ingeborg Jonsdatter Finnland was born in Aalen Sør-Trondelag in 1768.
Her dad was Jon Jonsen Gronli.
Her mum was Ingeborg Hansdatter Gronset.

I am just not sure if this is her. Her farm
name was Finnland. I think I better look for some more information.

There is no mother's name mentioned.

I gues the name Findland has nothing to do with Finnish Norwegians.
See Findland (Holtålen) at Gulesider or another map. Its just a bit
south-east below Trondheim.
