It must have been a hard time living in Skien around 1900, so many children
died, so many twins and even 3 and 4 children at same time. I wonder if it
could have something to do with the work they did.
This Reierson family as "dayworker" seem they have been moved a lot around
and it seems they did not baptism the children very regularly, (I see many
get baptism when they are 1-6 year old and some are collected so they do
more children at the same time).
It is strange that so many records don’t appear, baptism can be hidden years
later but deaths? Like this Thorolf Idar who only was 20, and Harald 41
leaving widow with small children. Where did they go?
Did this first child Ruben come to Norway or did it die before?
