ANNA KRISTINE OLSON
Mrs. Mads Olson died last Saturday at the age of 68 years from heart
trouble.
The deceased was a pioneer resident of Acton town. She was a native of
Norway, and came to Meeker county in 1866.
The funeral services were held yesterday from Ness Church.
The survivors are the following children; Louis and John Olson and Mrs.
Nelson, North Dakota; Olof M. Olson and Mrs. Christ Sather, Litchfield; Mrs.
Dahl, Grove City; Mrs. Stenhoff, Minneapolis, and Edwin Olson, Acton.

Mrs. Madt (Mads) Olson, the aged mother of merchant John M. Olson,
Louie (Lewis) Olson and Mrs. John Lekvold, died at her home near Grove City,
last Saturday morning. She was 68 years of age and had been sick for a
little over a month. Mrs. Olson was one of the pioneers of that county, a
devoted wife and mother, a Christian lady, with every acquaintance a loving
friend. Her death is sincerely mourned in this locality where she was
widely know(n) and esteemed. Eight children survive her, John M. Olson,
Louie (Lewis) Olson and Mrs. John Lekvold of this vicinity, Edwin Olson and
Mrs. Martin Dahl of Grove City, Minn.; Mrs. C. Sater (Sather) and Olaf O.
(M.) Olson Of Litchfield, Minn.; and Mrs. Stenhoff of Minneapolis. John and
Louie Olson went to Grove City Wednesday to attend the funeral.
