Subject: Outdoor plumbing

Talking about things still being used when you think they are gone
for
ever. When I was a kid I went to stay over night with my aunt and uncle,
they
just lived a few blocks from my house and we lived right in the middle
of
town, it was the late 50's. I could not believe it when I found out
they
still had to use the out house in the back yard. It was one of the last
few
houses in town to still not have indoor plumbing.

Sandy, Mom died in 1974 and still had outdoor plumbing. We moved there
in 1942. I had to sell the home place because they sewer was coming
through and I had the width of 6 lots to pay for.
