dear list,
I came across the following list of names in a book about old Notts. It is of members of the Nottingham Robin Hood Rifles serving in South Africa. They sailed from Southampton on the Avondale Castle, 24 th. Feb. 1900. The certificate was awarded to those who returned and is dated 1901. At the bottom it says God save the Queen so in must me sometime in Jan 1901
