Further to my earlier message, I have a booklet ("Newark, Aspects
of the Past" by Tim Warner, ISBN 0 900943 54 8, published by
Notts County Council Leisure Services in 1994) which contains
three pages, including two photos, about the Cafferata plaster
business at Hawton, just outside Newark. The business is still
operating there under a different name (British Gypsum).

If you are unable (or prefer not) to obtain a copy, contact me
privately for more details from it.
