1831 ENGLISH DEED SIGNED BY DUKE OF NORFOLK Item number: 2189788724

Handwritten English vellum indenture dated 1831 being the conveyance of three cottages in Worksop in the County of Nottingham between Vincent Henry Eyre, Esquire, of the first part; and The Most Noble Bernard Edward Duke of Norfolk, Earl Marshall and Hereditary Marshall of England, of the second part; and John Ball of Nottingham, Blacksmith, of the third part; and Francis Sissons, a Stationer, of the fourth part.
The transaction pertains to property under an Act of Parliament from the reign of George III and an additional document is attached relating to the property and the Act.

Nicely penned with fancy printed vignette, blue revenue stamp with insert, tax stamp, and two red wax seals.

One seal is signed by the Duke of Norfolk impressioned with Coat of Arms.

Docketed on verso.
