Seeking information about the HUSTON family. They resided in Centreville,
NS (four miles from Kentville). My ancestor, JAMES HUSTON, married MARY
BOWLAND at St. John's Anglican Church on November 18, 1856. He and his
family appear in the 1871 census. Mary and ten children appear in 1881
census. Don't know what happened to James. Died? emigrated? No HUSTONS in
Centreville in 1891 census.
At least five of the children emigrated to Boston/Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Anyone have any idea where a 19 th century parishioner of St John's would
be buried? Anyone have an e-mail address for St John's Anglican Church in
Centreville?
