Does anyone out there have a copy of COGSWELL'S In AMERICA,by E.O. JAMESON I
can't seem to find it. I tried to get it through the local library but it's
been months now, an they can't seem to rush it. It has to come from the
legislative library in Halifax Nova Scotia. What I looking to find is A
(DAVID COGSWELL Born. Mar.4 1841) he came to Cape Breton to River
Inhabitants/ Evanston area. David Cogswell was listed in Cape Breton
directory in 1864-65,there was him and a William Cogswell living in this
area so I suspect they may be related, and in 1902 David recieved a land
grant here. He married PHILOMENA FORGERON from Arichat Cape Breton,I wonder
if he was a decendant from King's Co. Thanks a bunch, Liz
