Any help finding information about Adam Lilly Boyd would be appreciated. I
do not know the date of his birth or death. I think he was born in the early
1900's, in Glasgow Scotland. His parents were John & Elizabeth McKay Boyd
born in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Adam was a graduate of Sydney Academy, worked at the steel plant for a time,
later employed at DeYoung's wholesale fruit firm where he was on the sales
staff for many years. He then worked for the Best Yeast Company as a
salesman for industrial Cape Breton
(copied from undated news article).

Adam was a member of the Sydney Curling Club,an active member of Masonic
Lodge No. 7, also identified with the Prince of Wales Chapter. (copied)

Adam was a member or attenuated the United Baptist Church. He lived at 23
Richardson Ave.., Sydney, NS. His wife was Hilda Bezanson of Sydney, NS.

Burial was in Hardwood Hill Cemetery.

The only other information I have are the names of his brothers and sisters.
Four of the children were born in Glasgow, Scotland, four were born in
Sydney, Nova Scotia. Adam in Glasgow.

I am just beginning, so help would be appreciated very much.

Thank you, Valerie ( USA)
