It would appear to me that a "professional" would at least acknowledge
receipt of both the request and the $$$!!!

Tim Horton's in early July. Allen is a legitimate professional genealogist,
much sought after as a speaker, has published and has been consulted by the
NS Provincial gov't. It was only later on in my vacation that I learned that
Allen is a PhD. He is a cousin and we discussed some details of the early
generations of a common ancestor from around the time of the Planters. His
notes were detailed and he was helpful.

to your emails or phone call, but I know he is busy and may not have
responded because he may not have found anything yet. He is a thorough
researcher and I am sure you will be satisfied that he has used your
resources wisely. I know it is hard to be patient when we have paid for
professional services.
