I have a couple of Nowell named in a family tree I am trying to verify.
It may be too far back to put together with your family but it is worth a try.

I have a Roger Nowell of Lancashire b. about 1520 marrying Elizabeth Paslowe
The only child I know of is Anne Nowell b. about 1550 Carr Hall,Whilpshire Twnshp, Lancashire marrying George Talbot b. Sept 1545 of the same place and m. Jun 1569.
