Well, I lost no time perusing my 1871 census CD (It was waiting for me when
I returned from Chicago at 10 last night:-). I found a little more on the
family of Angus b. 1811 and Annie (McCormick) b. 1817. In 1871 their
household is:

John 1841 with wife Margaret (McDonald) b. 1853 Mira
Flora 1848
Mary 1850
Sarah 1851
Margaret 1854
Jennet 1856

next household is Hugh McKinnon 1809
and the next is Roderick (Rory) McKinnon 1812 wife Margaret 1818

I am guessing that Angus, Hugh and Roderick are brothers, all born in
Scotland. Is anyone researching these lines?

Also, John and Margaret appear to have been married about 1870, yet they do
not appear on the LDS microfilm for CB marriages 1864-1908. Any other
suggestions for finding this Presbyterian marriage record in Sydney dist 2
1870?

Flora, Mary, Sarah and Margaret are still single and living at home in 1880,
but Jennet is "missing," so if someone has a Jennet McKinnon b. 1856, that
would also be helpful.

Thanks!

Lisa McDonald
