It is with the deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of
our beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend Barry on Jan.

Barry is survived by his loving wife Joanne of 24 years; daughters,
Jennifer (Daniel) Ferguson, Kristine and Victoria; and only

Margie Babineau (Donnie) and Carol (Gordie) Lynk; many nieces,
nephews, aunts, and uncles who he cherished.
His long conversations of the shipping industry with his best friends
Vlad Churney and Jeff Langille were always enjoyed.
Prior to a long illness with Systemic Mastocytosis, Barry was
employed as a marine engineer with Cal-Dive International on the Deep
Sea Vessel, Uncle John. He had a passion for the sea and engineering
that only few could understand. Barry travelled the world during his
career sailing with Stolt Parcel Tankers Inc., Confidence and Pride
Tankers. His most memorable position was with Strait Crossing, HLV
Svanen constructing the Confederation Bridge, P.E.I. He was also

words".
His daughters and granddaughter were his pride and joy and they will
miss him deeply but his memory will live on in their daily lives as
he has taught them to be strong and speak their mind.
