Blanche Dominic

Born In: Florence, Nova Scotia, Canada
Born: April 4th, 1925

Passed on: February 7th, 2012

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Blanche Dominic
after a short illness.
Blanche was born to the late Mary (Petrie) and William LeBlanc of Florence.
She is the last surviving member of her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Zammit, Toronto and
Patricia Edwards, Westmount; sister-in-law, Theresa LeBlanc; her
loving grandchildren, Laura, David, Robert, Jeannie, Cyril, Nancy,
David Cyril, Katrina and Leeann; her great-grandchildren, nieces and
nephews. She also leaves behind her wonderful companion and best
friend, Sidney Tobin.
She was predeceased by three husbands, David MacDougall, John
MacGrath and Andrew Dominic; her son, David; her daughter, Gloria in
infancy and her 11 siblings, William, John T., Alex, Lawrence,
Sidney, Annie Mae, Lillian, Edith, Marguerite, Theresa and Marcella.
There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place under the care
and direction of Francis Funeral Home, Sydney Mines. Mass of
Christian Burial will take place on Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph
Church, North Sydney with Fr. Patrick O'Neill officiating. Burial in
Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date.
She will be sadly missed by all her family.
Donations may be made to a charity of choice.

Ralph Hill

Passed in: New Waterford, Nova Scotia, Canada
Passed on: February 7th, 2012

Ralph William Albert Hill, 53, Ellsworth Ave., New Waterford, passed
away Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012.
Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Ralph and Elmira
(MacDonald) Hill.
Ralph was employed as a meat clerk with Sobeys, New Waterford.
Surviving are his sisters, Mary Hill and Diane (Francis) O'Reilly,
Glace Bay; brothers, Albert (Kathy), Sydney and Eddie (Thelma),
Robert (Hazel) and Lloyd (Fran), Glace Bay; several nieces and
nephews.
A family graveside service will be held at later date.
Memorials may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova
Scotia, Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice.

Wilfred Morris

It is with deep sadness we wish to announce the passing of Wilfred
Morris on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, following a massive stroke in Saint
John, N.B.
Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of Vivian Morris and the late George Morris.
He worked at University of New Brunswick, retiring due to ill health.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine (Sisk); daughter, Sarah
McKegney, Toronto; brother, Roy; cousin, Stella (Frank) Jones;
nephews, Michael (Tania), Jamie, and grand niece, Robyn, all of Saint
John.
He is also survived by uncles, Donald (Joyce) Crowell, Halifax,
George (Jean) Crowell, aunts Beth (Bill) Noseworthy, all of Glace Bay
and Shirley (Ray) McNabb, Sydney River; also numerous cousins in Cape
Breton.
A celebration of his life will be held Sat., Feb. 11 at his residence
in Saint John.

Passed on: January 17th, 2012

Anne L. MacEachen died peacefully on Jan. 17, 2012.
Anne was the former department administrator of medical records at
St. Margaret's Hospital, Dorchester for over 30 years, and was a
graduate of Sisters Hospital in Waterville, Maine.
She is survived by brothers, Stuart (Elizabeth) MacEachen, Erving,
Alexander MacEachen; sister, Isabel Murphy, Cape Breton; many nieces
and nephews.

Funeral and interment have taken place in Boston, Mass.

MacEACHEN, Anne L. Of West Roxbury, died peacefully on January 17,
2012 at age 90. Anne was the former Department Administrator of
Medical Records at St. Margaret's Hospital in Dorchester for over 30
years, and was a graduate of Sisters Hospital in Waterville , Maine.
Sister to Stuart MacEachen and his wife Elizabeth of Erving, MA.,
Alexander MacEachen, and Isabel Murphy of Cape Breton Island, Nova
Scotia. Anne is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and
friends are invited to a visitation at the funeral home Friday,
January 27th from 8:30 to 9:30am. There will be Funeral Mass
following in the Holy Name Church at 10am. Interment in Holyhood
Cemetery, Brookline. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in
Anne's memory to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Lone Star, 8111 N.
