Hi all subsribers to the NSW OrangeBathurst Rootsweb.

I have only today joined your group and hope we can be of mutual benefit to
each other.
I have been researching my mother's maiden name WITHNALL which I have traced
back to Staffordshire in England.
Several of the family left Scotland and are known to have moved to
Australia.

Hugh McGeechan and his wife Maggie Munro Withnall went to Australia sometime
around 1905 - 1920, not much to go on there.
2 of my granfathers brothers went to sea and jumped ship in Australia.
Robert Albert Withnall he married Lydia M Willot in Sydney in 1913 and had a
girl Edna Cybil Withnall in 1914. would be interested in any present day
descendants
Arthur Milford Withnall married Mary A E Smith in BATHURST in 1915 they had
two daughters
Jean A Withnall born in 1916 and
Kathleen Mary Withnall born in 1918. She married Douglas Harold Saunders.
I would be interested in finding any present descendants. Hope to find
someone is looking to find me to put in place a large piece of their jigsaw
puzzle.

I have also joined the NSW SE group. Which group covers Sydney
