Hi Ann,
Alan's middle name was Edwin. I have a Samuel Attwood immigrating to Victoria from Wadsworth, England in 1857. He married Hannah Andrews in 1853. They had three children Sarah 1864, phoebe Ann 1864 and Harriet 1868, His parents were James and Sarah. He was a nephew of Samuel the convict. They could be the same family? Thanks for the information.
