Evelyn, There are 58 Coles born in the Bathurst area 1850-1899 and another
60 in Sofala during the same period.

Ranger seems to be Sydney, Grafton or Goulburn based except for one born in
Bathurst in the 1880. (His name was George)

The Electoral Roll 1871 has a Robert Cole living in Bathurst (Stewart St)

Could you please give us a little more specific information on who you are
looking for.

If you want the list of BDM Bathurst let me know off list
