Hi Phillip
I don't think that anyone has replied to your request for Wellington
information.
Wellington has a Historical Society that also does family history research.
Their standard enquiry fee is $15.00.
I sent them $25.00 which was to include copies of photos that I knew they
held. I felt that I received excellent value for money from them.
Their address for research is
The Secretary
PO Box 281
Wellington NSW 2820.
Old copies of the Wellington Times are held at the local Library. The
research officer from the Historical Society is happy to search of
obituaries, wedding notices etc if you have dates. There is a small fee for
this service as the information has to be transcribed by hand.
The Wellington Cemetery Transcriptions are also on-line at
www.interment.http://www.interment.net/aus/nsw/orano/wellington.htm
I hope that this is of help to you.
Regards
Anne Eccles
