There was a William McAllister born 1864 at Orange to Peter and
Janet. From mother's name Janet, it looks like the same William died in
Balmain in 1910. This looks like your man, but you will need certificates
for proof.

I would find a transcription service and start with the marriage
certificate and then move to his birth or death certificate. Even birth
certificates of children might give his age and birth place. But five
certificates at around $20 each gets a bit expensive.

PS!! His surname for marriage is recorded as McMaster which I think looks
incorrect.
