Subject: Christopher Nutter's Will
Date: Fri, 17 Jan 1997 04:13:46 -0500 (EST)
I have copied verbatim the will of Christopher Nutter as printed in the Fooks
book.
I do not have a copy of the original will - if you do - can you compare the
"Wm" at the beginning to the "Wm" further on where he is mentioning his son?
Let us know how they compare.
Can anyone fill in the blanks - * * * * - located throughout the will?
Dave, can you annotate this will and pinpoint where the properties mentioned
would be today?
Also: there is no mention of Christopher's wife, Mary. Was she still
living? If so, where did she go after his death?
Also, note that he did not mention his oldest son - John - who died about a
year before this will was written. It appears he did not bequeath
anything to John's children. Does anyone know about John's widow -
Elizabeth Purnell - did she remarry?
