I think the White House was the hotel located north of Mormon Station at one point it was owned by the Rice family. It burned in the big fire of 1910. If memory serves me correctly one of my relatives married Andrew Boyd. Also the Boyd house is located on what is today Genoa Lane. The toll road ran south east from the house towards what is today Minden- you can still see the indent of where the road was if you know where to look.
