I am pleased to announce that new photos and surveys have been posted on the Nevada Tombstone Project webpage for the Goodsprings Cemetery. Goodsprings is located in Clark County, about 30 miles southwest of Las Vegas, Nevada. Thanks to Mickey Moran, the surveys have been listed by name and row number, and she has contributed photos of the entire cemetery for use of all genealogists.

Goodsprings was one of the early settlements in Southern Nevada, founded from the discovery of silver and other valuable ores in the late 1880s. Clark Gable established his base in this small community in the 1940s when they were searching for the site of the plane crash that carried his wife, Carole Lombard.
