Hello, Read your messages and dug out my copy of Old Heart of Nevada by
Shawn Hall. It mentions the Johnson Mine on three pages, but only the name
of the mines, nothing more with names, etc. I looked for the Hicks name
and found "Cap" Hicks, a Cherokee scout. His wife's father was a legendary
medicine man Chick Chop. The two page article mentions Cap Hicks two sons,
Jess & Eph. I scan the 3 pages and send them to you after the holidays.
I did not find anything for Fine or Trezona.
