Hello, anybody connected with the Tonopah Community Presbyterian Church? I need to obtain a copy of my mom's baptismal record from that church 1942.He name is Elizabeth Susan Ontiveros, but might possibly be listed as Alfonso like her two siblings (I hope not). Her parents were Lenore (Nora) and Fred Ontiveros. The congregation has dwindled over the years with only about 8 folks remaining. They all claim no knowledge of where or if any records remain in the walls of the church building. The Lay Pastor Rob Schleef is there but once a month. If anyone lives near or knows anyone there who can find any info regarding the records on location I would be ever so grateful. The CA-NV Presbytery doesn't know if the records were ever sent to the archives so someone has to look on site. I may be able to pass through there in July, but not certain. Please help:) !!
