Storey County seemed a strong possibility according to family folklore.
Turned out not to be true.

>From a friend on the Lyon County posting I found that Dora Bubar had died
in Stanislaus County, CA.

Dora's maiden name was Dora Cordelia Morton, born 27 Nov 1863 near New
Hampton, Chickasaw Co., IA. She married first a James Leach with whom she
had three children only one of which grew to adulthood. She married second
a Howard Bubar. They lived for a time in Yerington, NV.

Her son James Leach who married an Etta Spencer I am still looking for.
They were married in Phillips Co., KS.
