Looking for any information about this woman who would be my great great aunt. She was the daughter of Samuel and Margaret Chance Owen and was born about 1856 in Wapello County, Iowa. She married David Orman in Iowa and had a daughter named Stella, born about 1876. According to Iowa records, David divorced Frankie and said that she had gone to Nevada with another man. I found her listed in the 1880 census as F. Orman with her daughter Stella, living in Gold Hill, Storey County, Nevada. She listed herself as a dressmaker. David was listed as living in Esmeralda County, Nevada, and was working as a diaryman. David took Stella back to Iowa, because that's where she grew up and married. What happened to Mary Frances? Can anyone give me a clue?
