The name 'Belle' was very popular in U. S. from about 1890 till about 1920's. The last person I knew who was named 'Belle' was a friend's mother who was born about 1915. Haven't heard of it since. I copied what was in the newspaper....Doraugh. I know where the Hillside Cemetery is located as I use to live just a couple blocks away from it. It's in the general vacinity of the University of Nevada at Reno (UNR).The cemetery is in rather sad shape with a few headstones still standing and with no greenery or trees, just dirt surrounded by a chainlink metal fence. I don't know why the gravestone would have the 'Doragh' spellling. I'll see what I can find at the cemetery for you. I would think that the newspaper spelling would be the one that her family used.
