Oops - I just realized I was telling you about the Civil
War in my other message - I was confusing your message
with the earlier post about the Ivory who was in the Civil War.

I would now suggest you try to locate him in a census for
1900 or 1910, and see if you can figure out where he was
living at the time. Most of the advice in my other message
will still apply. Have you found his discharge papers? Where
did he live after the War? Many times people recorded their
discharge papers in the city or town where they were living
at the time.
