New York Yearly Meeting records were all transferred a few years ago to Friends Historical Library at Swarthmor College, PA. They are in the process of filming them. Some are available now at LDS.

In 1841 he bought a half interest in a grist mill and tannery from the builder of the mill, William Vail; the tiny settlement by it is still called Vail's Mills. John died on Nov. 27, 1870; Rhoda died on April 6, 1877.

I think the children's names were taken from a will, I do not have it.
