also look in google.com for couch family, peekskill ny. you will see alot of
info. linda whose chapman family is in those papers someplace! and i need the
info if you go on jeremiah chapman!!

I am looking for information on the family of Elizabeth and Joseph Couch who
came to US between 1834 and 1838. I have found them on the census of Mount
Pleasant, Westchester county of 1850. It indicates Joseph was a stonecutter
born in England who was 36 at the time of this census, his wife also born in
England was 35. Their children, Joseph 16 and born in England, William 16,
born in England, Samuel 12, born in US, Thomas 10, born in US, Elizabeth 9,
born in US, Theodore 7 and born in US, Phalo 5 born in US and I am uncertain
of name, Redelphus age 3, born in US and John W. age 2 months and born in US.
Does anyone have any records of immigration on this family? Also looking
for Haan--Becker family found on census of 1920 in Rockland County. Do not
know where they went after Westchester or if the family still resides in the
area.
