Actually, a URL followed by a trailing slash is the equivalent of
putting the default index page of a directory, be it index.html or .htm
or default.html, etc.

The domain, unfortunately, was incomplete, and it should read:

<http://www.schenectadyhistory.org/families/hmgfm/>;
