Hi, I am also a California resident. My name is Alicia and I live in

It will be a while before I make it to NY area. I was hoping you could keep
an eye pealed for Jesse or John Lane in Albany or Garrett Wright. In Albany
Troy or Dutchess County

I can find no hide nor hair of GGG Grandpa Garrett Wright. I was thinking he
died in Troy ... at age 34 leaving my GGG grandma Clarrissa a widow at 24,
with 3 small children Martha Wright

Charles Wiley Wright b. Feb 15 1829- Dec 21.1897

GARRETT WRIGHT B. circa 1798 -d. 1832 I don't know his parents. I was hoping
Albany or Troy would hold some link. I know he married my GGG grandma Clarrisa
Anne {Wiley Wilde or Wildey) 12 March 1822 (could be1823) in Albany.
Clarrisa's obituary says she joined the Baptist church about 1832 so I was thinking
that might be a good place to look for Garrett Wright's grave.

Another clue is that 2 of Clarrissa's Wilde(Y)'s sisters married brothers
named Lane.

Ann Wiley Wilde(y) Married to Jesse Lane, 20 March 1813 in First Reformed
Dutch Church, Poughkeepsie,Dutchess, NY
Sally (Wiley)Wilde(y)Married to John Lane, 27 November 1812 in Presbyterian
Church, Pleasant Valley, Dutchess, New York

Family story says the Lanes, perhaps both brother's families lived up in
Albany and that might be how Clarrissa got that far north to be married. Not sure
if Clarrissa was married at the Lane house or Church. I need to find records
of the Lanes up in that area.

Hopefully I can find Garrett either in Albany /Troy or Dutchess County

Garrett married my GGG grandma Clarrissa Ann WILDE(Y) or WiLEY b. 1808 in
Pleasant Valley Dutchess County, NY, daughter of Phebe Ranous b. and James
Wilde(y) b. 1770 Kinderhook, NY to Griffin Wilde and Anne Bishop) this Wide(Y) name
had a lot of arbitrary spelling.

Please help if you can
