I have my great grandfather Charles T. Rosekrans, who was born in 1847,
marrying Lydia Fowler in Sept 1869. Lydia was the daughter of Samuel A.
Fowler and Rebecca Shufelt. They were from the Albany area.. my Rosekrans
people started out in New York City then moved to Dutchess and Ulster
Counties. Charles T.'s great grandfather Johannes Rosekrans lived in
Marbletown..Rochester.. and Fishkill area..mid 1700s. Later Rosekrans
people moved to the Albany area... Living in Bethlehem, N.Y. and finally
Albany and Rensselaer.

What time period is this, my Fowlers are 1700-1840, in Westchester then
Dutchess Co. NY
