You need to find out when the Bar began. Before that lawyers only had the
law library, where they met. My g g grandfather was a prominent lawyer in
NYC in the middle to later 1800's. I found out about him in the paper, but
he was prominent. Maybe the NYPL may have info- sometimes they have their
photos. You may also want to use the ProQuest version of NYT, not the
internet one. Sue

Does anyone have an idea how to find a lawyer named Henry Cornell 1900-1930.
I've searched the census, city directories and the NYT for over a month
without success.

The only one I can find was the son of Gov. Alonzo Cornell; he was the wrong
Henry Cornell .

I can not find any old records for the Bar.
