Hello, Margaret,

I enjoyed reading your posting. I have only one expression to offer at the
moment ... and I have no idea if it is a characteristically Irish one. It
was one of my grandfather's favorites. His family was originally from Co.
Antrim or Co. Leitrim.

Maybe you or someone else can shed some light on its origin? ...

particularly impressive)
