Crescent Street and Euclid Ave. are in the Cypress Hills section of
Brooklin. They both run north and south between Jamaica Ave and Atlantic
Ave. This area is very close to the Queens county border. Their parish
would have been Blessed Sacrament.

Subject: [NY IRISH] Enumeration Districts in Brooklyn
Hi All,
I just found your wonderful list last night and was
excited to join. My ggrandfather, John Donnelly,
lived in Brooklyn, with his wife, Martha Ann CORGAN
Donnelly from abt 1891 til his death in 1941. They
lived at these 3 addresses:
Sutter Ave., Brooklyn, NY 1891/92 - 96/97
361 Euclid Ave., Brooklyn, NY 1896/97 - 1910/11
249 Crescent St., Brooklyn, NY 1910/11 - 1941
I have spent the entire evening searching late 1800
maps of Brooklyn and have not been able to find any of
these streets listed.
Because of his common name, I have unable to locate
him in any census' except the 1920 and then only
because he was living with his daughter and
son-in-law. His wife, though living at that time, was
not listed in the household.
Would anyone have any idea how I would find the
enumeration districts for these addresses?
Thank you for your help.
