Anne,
When I was married in Reno, NV many moons ago. We were married by a priest in
a Catholic church, we had one witness, the housekeeper of the Priests house.
He signed the license, right then and we mailed it back to Washoe County after
we got back to California. Washoe then mailed us back official marriage
certificate with the Official embossed seal etc.
1950/
Might be six of one and half a dozen of the other.
