My ancestors emigrated from Ireland in the 1840's from County Clare I think.

JOHANNA LANE married DAVID LEE in Ireland. They settled in Truxton, NY which is a small village near Cortland. Their children were Mary, Margaret,Thomas, David and John. Margaret married WILLIAM CONNELL and settled in Truxton. Mary married MICHAEL McNAMARA my great grandparents. Their children were Kate, Anne, Mary, Dave,John, Margaret and Michael. Kate married PATRICK O'BRIEN, Anne married THOMAS MURRAY, Dave married HELEN BUMP and Margaret married an ARTHUR COON.

My grandparents were DAVE and HELEN McNAMARA. He was a conductor for the Lehigh Valley RR. They lived on Little York Lake in Homer NY.

My goal is to find out more information about MICHAEL MCNAMARA. I found him in a census that said he was born in Ireland but other than that I have very little information about him.

My family names include LEE, LANE, SHERIDAN, MURRY, CONNELL, O'BRIEN and BUMPS. These are just on my father's side.
