My search is for my husbands GGgrandparents.
What I found so far is very slim.
John MURPHY & Susan MADDIGAN both born in Ireland around 1840 had the following children: Thomas (1869-1936), John, Ellen (GIBSON) MURPHY, and Min (MCLAUGHLIN) MURPHY. They came to New York and Thomas MURPHY worked for the NYC RR.
Michael MAHER and Anna BURKE both born in Ireland around 1840 living in Co. Cork if my information is correct, and had the following children: Margaret (MURPHY) MAHER, John, Mary (MCDONALD) Maher, and Kate (EUSTACE) Maher.
Thomas MURPHY 1869-1936 (m. 1895?) Margaret MAHER 1868-1940 Co. Cork Ireland. They had 7 children: John, William, Michael, Anna, Edward, Josephine, Margaret. They settled in Buffalo, NY. Margaret immigrated with her mother in 1883 according to the 1900 census from Ireland.
