My goal is to find out where in Ireland my Thomas and Ellen (Murphy)
Hinchy came from. His father was Thomas Hinchy and his mother was
Margaret Gleason. Their children were William, Martin, John, Mary,
Thomas and Patrick. They lived in Manhattan on Desbrosses St. and other
streets in that area. They came over somewhere in the mid 1800's. So
far I have been unable to find any ship records of them and the
naturalization papers don't have that information. I am writing letters
to a couple of churches that might have something on them. They
