Hi Mary!
Thank you SO much for looking that up for me!! That's terrific! I've been
stuck for awhile with my Tee family, because Richard Tee (my immigrant
ancestor on that line) didn't mention parent's names or county he came from
in any record that I've found so far, including his naturalization papers
and Church marriage record. I've had suspicions he may have been from Meath,
because of his wife's family, close friends, etc., but had nothing real to
go on. So this gives me a good clue, and now I should be able to check some
parish records hor him.
Thank you too, Pat, for the links! The Godrey Library sounds
intreguing.....I think I'll look into that. It could be a real help! I
checked the index you sent, too, now that I have a parish to go by, and the
Gernonstown parish looks very probable.
