Test message clog up the archives and are against the mailing list's
rules/guidelines. A better way to find out if the list is still
working, or whether messages have been posted to the list that you might
not have received, is to check the archives at:
http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/NY-IRISH

If you find there have been messages posted but you haven't received
them, then you can check to see if you are still subbed to the list
through Password central at: http://passwordcentral.rootsweb.com/

If both those don't work, email me directly, off list. If you can't
remember the email address of an listowner/admin, simply substitute the
L with ADMIN in the list's posting address and it will go directly to
that list's admin.
