Subject: NYC marriage record from ca 1872

I am trying to locate a marriage record for my great grandparents who were
probably married in Manhattan or Brooklyn, around 1872.

Is there a form to request this, and if so, to whom would I send it? I
printed out a form from the City Clerks Office, but this is only good for 1930 to
present.
