Hi Pat...Me thinks that unless it is a hardship on you...leave well enough alone...If it ain't broke, don't fix it! Lauri

NY Irish message board and when appropriate messages are posted to the
board, I pass them on to this list. Please note that there is always a
URL for the message in the post and if you reply to this list, it will
not go to the message board, it will only go to the list. If the person
who posted the message to the board is not a member of the list, they
will not see the reply if it was only sent to the list. However, if you
click on the URL, it will take you to the message board where you can
post your reply. In turn, I will get a copy of your reply and I will
post it to the list.

This might be a good time to discuss, again, if we want an automatic
hookup with the board...if I change the utilities so that board messages
are automatically posted to the list, without going through me first, it
might change the feeling of community on the list. I have seen this
happen on other lists, like recently with the NY Queens list. While, it
was not a busy list, it seemed like we took care of one another. Now it
gets lots of posts but they are mostly from the board and there seems to
be no interaction among the list members.

But, that is my opinion and I am very open to other opinions and will
abide by the wishes of the majority of the list members. So, how about
some pros and cons about connecting to the Irish in NY board. You can
