If you're in the Capital District area, I'd like to invite you to celebrate the history of Troy's Irish community and the publication of "The Keeners," my new historical novel that begins in Famine Ireland and continues the story of the Irish immigrants and the labor unions in Troy. Tipperary at Tara is hosting a public reception on THIS Friday evening at 6 p.m. at The Arts Center at Monument Square in historic downtown Troy. The event is free and will be fun for all.
