Seeking any information on a DOUGHERTY (first name unknown), married, from
Ireland, came to the USA after 1840 with wife and three sons, Michael b.c1840;
David; and James. They also had a daughter, name unknown, thought to have
married a GRIFFEN in Ireland or US.

Michael settled in New York (Manhattan), NY, US.
m. Margaret FITZSINNONS, b. 1847, London, Ontario, Canada.
married in Manhattan, New York, NY, US in 1864.
Became a US Citizen about 1864.
Daughter Ann married a MURPHY c1892 in Manhattan.

David, it is believed, settled in Boston, Massachusetts, US.

James, it is believed, settled in Clintonville, Clinton, New York; US.
