I know I am not alone dealing with Irish names. My ggrandmother, Lydia
Bridget, who disliked both names used one or the other as the mood stuck
her. My father's family used Mary & Joseph for all children for eiher first
or middle names. Those children sometimes reversed the order of their
names. I've had several stiff drinks over that family!
